Dance Canvas, Inc. is a choreography presenting company devoted to providing young and emerging professional choreographers with venues to create new works, provide audiences with a chance to see diverse World Premieres, and provide high school and college-age students with innovative/educational internship experiences.

Both Partnering opportunities come with great benefits including: tickets to performances, VIP seating, VIP entrance into after parties and events, Acknowledgement in publicity materials.

Teo Castellanos' 2010 workshop and residency was presented in counjunction with Network of Ensemble Theaters and funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.

Funding for DC NEXT and DC INTERNS is provided by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners under the guidance of the Fulton County Arts Council.

                  

 

By becoming a DANCE CANVAS Supporting Partner , your generosity goes toward:

- Providing intership opportunities to college age students, who are interested in careers in the arts.
 
- Establishing and growing our young artists program, which gives Atlanta High School students a unique hands-on arts experience.
   
- Providing a venue for talented, emerging choreographers to create and present diverse new works.
By becoming a DANCE CANVAS Volunteer Partner , you will assit the company with:

- Ushering and Backstage Performance needs
 
- Mailings and Promotional activities
 
- "Young Artists" event coordination, overseeing activites with the teens in Dance Canvas' programs.
 
- On Site assistance with receptions and Dance Canvas meetings
